The approximate shelf life is 2-3 weeks refrigerated with the glass jar with the lid removed, freezing may also extend the shelf life. Sea moss has a natural sea smell. The longer you keep it the stronger it may smell. It doesn’t mold but may occasionally form a algae film. Simply remove the algae film and you may continue use.
