In the early 1900's, the average woman had roughly 40 items in her closet. Today, it’s over 120.
Back then, clothes cost a lot more, so people only bought what they loved and needed. In the past, clothes were made of better quality, materials were not processed with as many harmful pesticides and toxic chemicals that pollute the body and the environment. But now, sometimes we buy clothes just because they’re cute and cheap. This creates CLUTTER, in our closets, hearts, and minds. The more inexpensive, toxic clothing we collect, the more adverse health situations we create and the more billion dollar fashion and pharmaceutical industry’s sell.
